Tru-D (Total-Room Ultraviolet Disinfector)
The Tru-D is ideal for surface disinfection in laboratories, operating suites, ICU, clinics, schools, high risk areas, and any highly susceptible surface. The primary benefit is 3 to 6 log surface disinfection of entire area. The secondary benefit is airborne microbial disinfection and VOC removal within the space.

- Enclosed dimensions = 69” H x 27” W, 158 lbs.
Process
- Disinfect an entire room with one portable, easy-to-use, self-monitoring device
- Position the TRU-D near the center of the room; activate the UV cleansing energy disinfection process from outside the area using a wireless remote
- Removable, hard-case lamp and storage protectors serve as warning signage to prevent accidental exposure
- Once activated, an array of sensors measure the germicidal UV-C energy reflected back to the unit
- An onboard CPU calculates the time required to effectively provide 3 to 6 log disinfection to all shaded areas within the room. Progress information is displayed on the wireless remote
- Door sensors deactivate the unit if people attempt to enter a room during the disinfection process
- The TRU-D automatically powers down when the preferred germicidal disinfection rate is achieved
- 3 to 6 log air and surface decontamination is achieved in 20-30 minutes, depending upon the degree of decontamination required and the area size and configuration of the area to be decontaminated
- The disinfected area is ready for immediate occupation and use.
